About Me

My name is Kelly Kilgour, and I currently reside in Pittsburgh, PA. By day, I am a software developer working primarily in PHP using the symfony framework.

Education

I graduated from Woodland Hills High School in Pittsburgh, then went on to study at Carnegie Mellon University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Computer Science.

Greek Life

Being a sorority woman is a large part of who I am. During the second semester of my first year of college, I joined the local sorority Zeta Psi Sigma. Throughout the next year, we went through the process of being adopted by a national sorority. On April 29, 2006, I was initiated as charter member of the Kappa Nu chapter of Alpha Chi Omega.

As a collegiate member, I held positions such as VP Education, Alumnae Relations Chair, Webmaster, VP Finance, and Panhellenic Delegate. Since graduation, I have advised the collegiate chapters at Southern Methodist University and Allegheny College, and I have served on the executive boards of the Dallas and Pittsburgh alumnae chapters.

My most interesting position to date is Technology Specialist. In early 2009, the national organization revamped its volunteer structure. I work on a team with five other women from across the country to come up with ways to help alumnae chapters with their technology needs.
